Skiing on May 24th

Woke up Monday to a day that was finally somewhat sunny. Minus the wind it was perfect, but really the wind help made sure we didn't melt into a ball of sweat! Hale and I took three runs, two on the west side of Mt. Rose summit and one down the east side of Mt. Rose summit. To be honest it was better than i was expecting. It was a good 3-4 inches of fluff on top of crust and I even think we got a face shot when going through some wind lips! It was a good day of spring skiing and with more snow in the forcast we might have to do it again!

Jon Cherry Freeskiing

Here is an edit of jon doing his thing in the donner back country

november 20-22 2009

Here is another pov video i am going to throw on here. it was from squaws opening day of the season, november 20. we had received some snow, about half a foot, but it was only enough to cover one run off of red dog... the skiing was horrible... but snow is snow, so i still had a blast!

To start things off, first day of skiing

here is some pov footage of the first day of skiing. October 14ish 2009, mt rose summit. we received a short storm that brought sloppy wet snow, which formed an excellent base
